This policy explains how Wathanzi Food and Beverages Private Limited (“Wathanzi”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through wathanzi.com and our enquiry form. We are the data fiduciary for that data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. What we collect

Enquiry details you give us. When you submit our enquiry form or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, city, business or event details and your message.
Correspondence. Emails, messages and call notes exchanged while we discuss an order, supply arrangement or franchise enquiry.
Basic technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. This website itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not send them to us.

3. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations, proposals or franchise information.
To fulfil and service orders, including white-label supply and ceremonial orders.
To carry out ordinary business administration, accounting and statutory record-keeping.
To keep the website secure and functioning.

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form or write to us, and on the legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

4. Who processes it with us

We use a small number of service providers who act on our instructions:

Tally — hosts and processes our online enquiry form. When you open the form you are on Tally's platform and their own privacy terms apply to that page.
Our website host — serves this website and keeps standard server logs.
Our email provider — delivers and stores business correspondence.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to our professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.

5. Cookies

This website does not set cookies for advertising, profiling or analytics. Third-party pages you travel to from here — including the Tally enquiry form — may set their own cookies, which are governed by their policies.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any relationship that follows, and afterwards only for as long as we must under tax, company and contractual record-keeping rules. When neither applies, we erase it.

7. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act, you may ask us to:

confirm what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it;
correct or complete inaccurate or outdated data;
erase data we no longer need;
withdraw consent you previously gave (this does not affect processing already carried out); and
nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

Write to ops@wathanzi.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to the data we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their job. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet.

9. Children

This website is intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here, with the date shown above, is the one in force.
